YuLi bubble alumina is hard but friable with respect to its pressure strength. The melting point is around 2100℃。 Due to its hollow spheres, YuLi bubble alumina has low bulk density which is 0.5-1g/cm3 and extremely low thermal conductivity.

As lightweight refractory, Yuli Bubble alumina is used for production of refractory insulation materials, refractory lightweight bricks, as loose bulk material for the filling of thermal insulation walls, meanwhile YuLi bubble alumina is ideal filler for high-temp. (1600-2400℃)furnace due to its chemically inert, such as induction furnace, nitriding furnace.
